親愛的同學們

大家是不是渡過了一個快樂、輕鬆的復活節假期呢？美國Washington DC 的櫻花在三月底就已經柔和的把春天景色呈現出來；多倫多的春天也在清晨的鳥鳴、枝頭的嫩芽景態中綻放春天的氣息！同學們是不是也給自己一個新的期許、心的約定了？

這個月裏班上也有一些特別的靜態、動態的活動在進行中，你準備好了嗎？

• 關於『台灣』：在課本的第六課內容中，我們對台灣有了簡單的認識。我便請同學們作更進一步對台灣的介紹和認識；在第一週，我很開心看見善美、小玲、昭盛、慧婷和景聰同學們都作了特別的主題介紹，讓我們更有興趣的去認識台灣。希望同學們不論以演講、照片或幻燈片介紹等各種形式來練習作口語介紹，記得老師和你們一起學過 ─『有願就有力！』『用心就是專業！』其他還未作的同學，繼續加油喔！
• 懇親會：四月二十二日10:00-10:50am是我們班上與家長的懇親會時間。老師誠摯的邀請您的爸爸媽媽一起來參語並體驗我們的靜思語教學活動，老師有特別的驚喜要送給前來參加的家長喔！雙語誠班真情邀請您的參與...
• 期末考試：五月六日是我們的學期的期末考，請同學們好好加油準備課本第一課到第六課的內容外，還要了解並記熟我們曾經學過的靜思語喔！

Hello everyone,

April is cherry blossom season in Washington DC. Along with the blossoms so came spring and Easter. Hope you all had a good Easter break! Now that you have had a good rest, I hope you are ready for, and looking forward to the upcoming events in our class:

1. Lesson Six in our text about gives a brief introduction about Taiwan. I have asked you to do some research on Taiwan. So far I have received excellent presentations from Jantzen, Vesakhac, Dave, Nancy Yan and Serena. I am very impressed with their work. Meanwhile, I am looking forward to seeing the presentations from the rest of you. You can complete your assignment through speech, PowerPoint slides or annotated pictures. These are just of the ways you can present your findings.
2. April 22, 2007 is a day for us to meet your parents. This is a valuable opportunity to meet and talk to your parents in person, and for the parents to experience our class. Please invite your parents to participate and have a fun day with us.
3. Our final examination will be on May 6, 2007. Please study hard and prepare not only from the text book (Lesson 1 to Lesson 6), but also review and memorize the Jing-Si Aphorism we have learned in this semester. Gook Luck!
