經過九月、十月的學習過程，大家是不是已經開始對語言的學習多了一些信心和快樂的感覺呢? 這一週老師帶大家進入E-Pen的使用方法，希望可以藉此開拓學習的領域，讓學習更豐富更好玩! 別忘了只要每天10-15分鐘和爸爸媽媽一起分享網上學中文的樂趣，你們也可以是爸爸媽媽最佳的語言小老師喔!! 加油^_^

2008/04/13 校外教學通知 Field Trip for our class

雙語誠班計畫在四月十三日星期天的上課時間舉行一次特別的校外教學。
活動當天我們將利用進行的教學活動包括：體驗電腦中文打字和漢語拼音練習、參訪慈濟支會辦公室，使學生們進一步認識慈濟的歷史背景與中文學校創辦的緣起等等。接著，我們將會利用剩下的時間實際練習看中文菜單、點餐和品嚐道地的台灣食物；目的為讓我們的學生除了課堂內的中文學習外，還可以進一步體驗學校外的實際中文應用。歡迎學生家長與我們同行喔!
時間：2008年 4 月13日 (9:30am – 12:30pm)
地點：大都會廣場入口集合 3636 Steeles Ave.

四月的雨帶來春草嫩綠，春天的喜悅，正是因為著蘊藏著無窮的希望。您的孩子已在慈濟與我們度過了七個月。您是否在孩子身上看到了不同以往的希望呢？為了讓您更加貼近老師與孩子的心，了解靜思語教學的真諦，依行事曆本校將於4月20日，在各班教室舉行本學年度懇親會。各班舉行的時段如下：
April showers bring us the joys of spring and a season full of hope. As of April, your children would have been with the Tzu Chi Academy for seven months. Have you noticed any improvement with your children? We would like to bring you closer to the hearts and soul of your children and our teachers, and share with you the teachings and philosophy of Jing-si aphorism. We cordially invite you to a parents meeting to take place on April 20, 2008, at the times listed below for your children’s classes:
1) 10：00am～10：50am 幼小誠/正、一年誠/正、三年誠/正、五年級、進修一、進修三/四
JK, Grade 1, 3, 5, 7, 9&10
2) 11：00am～11：50am 幼大誠/正、二年誠/正、四年級、六年級、進修二、雙語誠/正

2008/03/30 Fundraising Donation Ceremony
Bilingual students purchased 4CD players, 2DVD players and 8 Tzu-Chi CDs with the money they raised from the Fundraising event last Christmas and donated to Tzu-Chi Academy.
One of the Bilingula teacher - Ms. Mei Liu gave a speech at the beginnging of this ceremony.
One of the representative students - Paul Des Rosiers thank to the school for giving us the opportunity to understand the meanings of "love" and "kindness" through this event.
From donating the stuff, participating the fundraising sale, getting new equipment for school as teaching material, our students leanred and realized the circle of love.
Bilingual teachers Ms. Mei Liu(left) and Ms Stephany Liu (right) appreciated about the efforts made by each member from the school. Thank you, everyone.
義賣活動捐贈儀式圓滿完成
雙語班此次的愛心義賣活動圓滿告一段落，我們邀請各班兩名代表參與出席義賣後的捐贈儀式，看著孩子們睜大雙眼看見自己無形的愛心轉化為有形的教學資源，心中展現無限的快樂。
雙語班的同學把義賣募集到的現金三百元購買了四部CD 收錄音機、兩部DVD 放映機外、還有數片慈濟歌選CD 以回饋學校對活動的支持。
同學們以恭敬心捐贈購買的器材，林校長帶著各處室師兄師姐以感恩心雙手接受學生們的誠心付出。
從愛心捐出東西支持義賣到捐贈教學器材回饋學校，是透過學校家長、同學、老師與志工師兄師姐們的善心付出和鼓勵而成就這個有意義的活動；這股愛的清流將繼續延續涓涓不息...
